Hamlets, northerners mirror. Slarge launched a very aggressive attack at the start and got a quick kill and unit advantage. I began fighting defensively and slowly wore him down and got a sizable kill advantage, plus many advancements, at which point he surrendered.

Yeah, I also became pretty tired and tried some very reckless king-sniping action :) It almost could've worked at one instant when an assassin got behind enemy lines and engaged zahni's 9 HP poisoned king, a 100% sucessful attack with throwing daggers would've killed him :)
But yeah, wesnoth is not a game for individual heroism but army tactics, I know :)
