Dear Players,

mentioning the random number generator in the game comments is a nice but redundant reminder that we are all playing a partially luck based game. It is also pretty clear that there is a relationship between winning with much luck and losing with bad luck, but at the end of the day we, the ladder players, play more than just one game and we believe that this effect is outweighted by one's skill over time. in theory. some of us have kind of got addicted to checking the rng after every attack, feeling either very good or very bad after they see any two-digit number. this is not the point of the stats command I guess, and it would do you, YES YOU, much good to stop checking it so frequently here are some examples which you could use to win your next game:

Estimate your opponents reaction, build exactely those units that will lead to your victory, fake attacks or retreats, set up traps behind the fog, bank gold, use your leader wisely, risk everything when losing, excel at unit placement, drive your opponent mad, try to stay ahead 2 turns.
